Los Merengues attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to fans for his reaction when taken off in the recent fiery Clasico clash victory.
He was replaced in the second half and displayed his annoyance by going straight down the tunnel.
He later returned to the sidelines and, after his club's narrow triumph, tried to confront Barça's Lamine Yamal during contentious post-match incidents.
"Today I want to apologise to all the supporters for my behavior when I was taken off in the big match," Vinicius wrote on his account.
"Similarly to I have already done during the latest practice, I wish to express regret anew to my teammates, the team, and the president.
"At times passion gets the better of me because I constantly desire to triumph and assist my team. My competitive character originates in the love I feel for this team and all it represents."
Vinicius signed for Madrid from his former club in recent years for a significant fee and has scored over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.
But his career in the La Liga is far from certain with rumors in lately indicating that Real would consider permitting the player depart if they were to receive a appropriate bid.
