A individual initially detained in relation to the Manchester City Jewish house of worship attack has been taken into custody again at the local airport.

Two individuals were killed when the attacker, 35, executed a combined vehicle and knife attack at the Heaton Park synagogue on October 2.

North West Counter Terrorism Police stated the 30-year-old suspect was originally arrested on suspicion of planning, preparing, and instigating of acts of terrorism.

Police indicated he was re-arrested at Manchester Airport on suspected failing to disclose information in violation of Section 38B of the Terrorism Act 2000. He has since been granted bail with specific conditions.

Police stated they "do not believe there is no continuing danger to the public following the incident last week."

Six people were held in the wake of the attack, with two—a man and a woman—taken into custody in the following hours and then released on Sunday evening.

The next day, detectives stated they had been given additional time to interrogate the remaining four, who were also held on "suspected commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist acts."

On midweek, authorities indicated they too were scheduled for release but clarified that "was not an indication the probe was finished."

Also on that day, authorities disclosed that the suspect placed an emergency call in which he swore loyalty to the group calling itself Islamic State.

One victim, sixty-six, and fifty-three-year-old another victim lost their lives in the attack on Middleton Road in Crumpsall.

The victim suffered a bullet injury after armed police officers arrived at the incident and shot the suspect fatally.

A officer's bullet also struck a different individual, a bystander, who is recovering in hospital after an operation.
