Bondi Reveals Investigation into Trump Rivals and Jeffrey Epstein Links

On Friday, Pam Bondi designated interim US attorney Jay Clayton to oversee an investigation into political adversaries of Donald Trump and their relationships with Jeffrey Epstein. This action came shortly after the president directed her to begin the probe.

In a statement, Bondi praised Jay Clayton as “one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country”. She stated, “As with all matters, the department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people.”

This action seems to diverge from a recent memorandum from federal authorities which indicated that the Epstein files did not warrant additional investigations. As per the document, authorities “found no proof justifying probes into uncharged individuals”
